Arran 1996 7 Year Old, SMWS 121.1 – Vanilla Pod Seeds …and Ultimately the Sea

This young 7 year old Island single malt was laid to rest at the Arran distillery in August 1996 and bottled for The Scotch Malt Whisky Society in January 2004.

Bottled as the inaugural SMWS release from Arran, under society cask 121.1, this Islander was filled from single sherry Gorda at a natural strength 59.4% ABV and is one of 835 bottles that is described on the label as ‘Vanilla pod seeds …and ultimately the sea’.
