Glenfiddich’s Toasted Oak Reserve 12 year old was a limited edition which was released in 2006 and matured entirely in first-fill American oak barrels. Serge Valentin of whiskyfun.com commented it had notes of roasted nuts and chocolate when he tasted upon release.
