Official Tasting Notes

Colour – Deep Gold

Nose – Richly aromatic with’ rancio ‘ like complexities of overripe tropical fruit, earthy wood aromas and an almost heady petrolic like undertone. Cask derivative coconut, vanilla and wood shavings can also been found.

Palate – Rich bourbon cask influences of coconut, wood and wood spices explode on the palate after the initial taste. Spirit led fruit character appears after a few seconds in the form of raspberry like esters and overripe tropical fruit and dessert wine.

Finish – Creamy chocolate, brandy snaps, coconut and ripe cherries in the medium length finish.
