Craigellachie – Heroes & Heretics – The Disciples 1st Edition Single Cask #900777 2007 12 year old Whisky

A superb Single Malt released by Heroes and Heretics. Distilled at Craigellachie in 2007, this Whisky was matured in a single Sherry Butt (#900777) for over a decade, before being bottled in 2020. Only 727 bottles were produced in this outrun, so this is one to sip and savour.

Nose: Ripe red fruits, chocolate and think treacle and coffee.

Palate: Cinnamon, roasted nuts, syrup, sponge, chocolate and buttered toast.

Finish: Spice revealed from the oak and fruit cake lingers.
