Ardmore – Goldfinch Kilnsman’s Dram 2008 13 year old Whisky

A beautifully refined and lightly peated classic single malt from the Ardmore Distillery in Speyside. Released as a cask strength, single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 13 years and matured in a first-fill European oak Oloroso sherry Hogshead. Non-chill filtered and entirely natural in colour. Only 350 bottles were yielded from this exceptional cask.

Nose: Fresh barley and grass with light notes and a toffee smoke.

Palate: Dry oak with pear and citrus fruits that opens up into a hint of vanilla and toffee with a smooth leather mouth feel.

Finish: A lasting wood smoke with barley and very subtle honey notes.
