Ardmore – Macbeth Act One – Household Series – Seyton 12 year old Whisky

A collection of forty-two different whiskies from the length and breadth of Scotland, selected and bottled by Livingstone in partnership with Elixir Distillers. Each whisky represents a character from the Tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare, with illustrations by Sir Quentin Blake and character notes by Dave Broom.

Seyton is one of ten characterful whiskies in The Household series.

Ardmore, unusually for a Highland distillery, creates a consistently brilliant peated whisky, yet it has often lived in the shadows as a single malt. I am pleased to bring this gem to the stage as one of The Household: for Seyton, beholden to Macbeth, it has been matured in a cask from its intensely smoky Islay cousin, yet retains a fresh, herbaceous quality.
