Ardmore – Tri Carragh – Release No. 2 2006 17 year old Whisky

A 17 years old single cask bottling from Ardmore distillery in Aberdeenshire.

Nose: A nose of sweet tobacco, toasted oak, sweet herbal peat and crème brûlée. This sweet smoke continues with water but with vanilla notes becoming more prominent.

Taste: The palate lives up to the nose – sweet & chewy with lots of smoky embers coming through. The addition of water heightens the sweetness.
