Arran – 2020 Release Single Malt 1995 25 year old Whisky

The oldest age statement in the Arran Core Range featuring their oldest and rarest casks. Presented in a stunning engraved wooden gift box. Produced from a mix of Bourbon Barrels and Sherry casks from 1995 which have been finished for a year in Sherry Hogsheads. Distilled and matured at Lochranza Non-chill filtered Natural colour and bottled at 46% ABV.

The Arran 25 Year Old marks a significant milestone for our Lochranza Distillery as some of their oldest, original casks come of age. A small number of precious casks are married together to form this liquid gold. We are delighted to present it as the ultimate core range expression of Arran Single Malt.

Tasting Notes

Colour – Rich amber.

Nose – Rich oak with a gentle nutmeg note. Sweeter aromas of baked ripe figs, sultanas and black cherries.

Palate – Fruit cake with toasted almonds and cinnamon. The juicy zestiness of oranges and mandarins mellow perfectly with manuka honey, muscovado sugar, baked apricots and an interesting white pepper note that provides even more complexity.

Finish – Creamy and spicy with dark chocolate, walnuts and dark fruits compote.
