This was bottled exclusively for the owners / bond holders of the Distillery back in 2001, and as it was their first ever single malt is now very collectable.
Nose: light and delicate with custard cream biscuits, vanilla ice cream and tropical fruit freshness, lemon icing and cereal notes.
Palate: White chocolate panna cotta with notes of spiced tropical fruit (especially pineapple) custard danish pastries, vanillin oak.
Finish: Buttery shortbread, pineapple chunks, vanilla custard, white chocolate, aromatic spices. A youthful Arran that has all the flavours that we have come to love at 10 years and more, good to try this distillery as it was developing a style of its own and lots going on here for one so young.
