Only 400 bottles from a single ex-Bourbon cask of this lesser known Speysider that has the oily and citrussy quality this distillery is famous for.
Nose: Lemon sponge cake, freshly baked biscuits, grassy, floral, touch of green herbs, custard powder.
Palate: peppery citrus, waxy orange, oily salad dressing, Nice biscuits, battenberg.
Finish: yellow jam tarts, lemon cheesecake, fizzy spice (pick and mix sweets) touch of white pepper and subtle vanillin oak.
An easy going fresh and inviting Speyside and a distillery worth seeking out.
