Balmenach 2011

Balmenach is typically destined for use in blended whisky, so it’s pleasure to get to know this single malt a little better. It was matured in a single hogshead for 12 years which has imparted aromas of honey, caramel and chamomile tea on the nose, followed by notes of vanilla ice cream, white pepper and sugar-coated peanuts throughout the palate.
