Benrinnes 2009 12 Year Old Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks Parcel 9

A 12-year-old Benrinnes single malt from independent bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a batch of four refill sherry hogsheads and bottled as part of its Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks series Parcel No.9. Aromas of old leather, cherries, sandalwood, clove and cinnamon fill the nose, complemented by notes of Black Forest gateau, flaked almonds, coffee beans, ginger snaps and cherry cola throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.
