Despite being bottled at an impressive 56.6% ABV, this is a delightfully smooth and easy-drinking Whisky. Distilled at the iconic Blair Athol in 2008, it’s easy to relax into the beautifully mellow golden syrup notes and comforting peppery spice.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Lively and robust. Limestone and delicate floral.
Taste: Malty, rich warming spice with a touch of citrussy grapefruit and pear juice.
Finish: A curious sweetness is introduced at the end after the acidity and dryish finish has passed.
