Bowmore 1976 30 Year Old, Kranna Dubh with Presentation Case

This spectacular 30 year old Kranna Dubh, the Celtic legend of the Sea Dragon, single malt was laid down at the Bowmore distillery in 1976 and bottled for the travel market in 2006 – the instantly recognisable imagery of the mythical creature adorns both bottle and presentation case.

It is said that Kranna Dubh once inhabited Loch Indaal, a sea Loch which is overlooked by the Bowmore distillery in Islay, and was slayed by a Scottish warrior who went by the name of Fingal. If you are to believe folklore then the Dragon’s dark blood can be seen reflecting atop the Loch on certain evenings – though the skeptic might just suggest it to be one of Islay’s resplendent sunsets!

This is one of just 1,800 limited bottling’s that scored a fire-breathing 90 points on WhiskyFun and comes in pristine condition complete with presentation case.
