Bowmore – Islay Single Malt 15 year old Whisky

A classic in the Bowmore core range.  The fifteen year old is matured in ex – Bourbon casks for twelve years and then spends its final three years in Oloroso Sherry casks.  Always an accessible Islay Malt, the nose exudes raisin, stewed fruits, chocolate and a peaty smoky quality. The palate is smooth and supple with treacle and woody notes. The finish has Sherry, barley and subtle smoke.
