Convalmore 1975 45 Year Old, Gordon & MacPhail’s Private Collection – Cask 2563

This dazzling 45 year old Speyside single malt beauty was laid down at the Convalmore distillery on the 15th October 1975 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Private Collection on the 16th December 2020.

Charged from refill American hogshead number 2563 at a natural cask strength 47.9% ABV, this is one of only 146 very rare bottles that comes housed in a stunning ribbed decanter with fine oak presentation case and COA.

The Convalmore distillery was another sad casualty of the very difficult 1980’s, with the doors slamming shut for the final time in 1985.
