Release no.1 in a series of Craigellachie 13 Year Old whiskies finished in barrels that previously matured spirit condensed in a worm tub condenser.
Armagnac is a spirit that’s retained its rustic heritage since the 15th century. Like Craigellachie it’s produced using worm tub condensers. Finishing in Bas-Armagnac barrels rounds their robust Craigellachie; baked apples dusted with cinnamon and notes of caramel shortcake are offset by signature syrupy pineapples and fiery bonfire night aromas. A contradiction in a glass.
