Craigellachie – Dimensions Single Cask #75900399 2008 12 year old Whisky

Duncan Taylor’s Dimensions Collection is an outstanding range of single malt and single grain whiskies from across the length and breadth of Scotland. This 2008, 12 year old Craigellachie is bottled at Cask Strength at 55.4% ABV.

Nose: Fresh and fruity, stewed prunes, marzipan, black tea with lemon.

Palate: Elegant sherry with raisins and dried fruits, chocolate covered walnuts, quite malty, sweet but not sickly.

Finish: Long and beautifully spiced, more dried fruits, good balance between the sweetness and spices.
