100% Finished for 2 years in 1st fill Port pipes that were souced from Symington Family Estates, who produce many of the finest Port wines. A lovely red berry fruited Tomatin finished in casks that previously held Tawny Port for over 50 years.
Nose: Crushed cranberries, redcurrant jelly, red cherry, zinfandel rose wine, rose turkish delight.
Palate: Crunchy red berries, cherry pop, icing sugar on strawberry, honey & toffee.
Finish: Soft and creamy with more red berries, yoghurt corners with cherry, spicy rose wine tannins.
Very elegant, creamy and mellow Highland Malt from this ever impressive distillery.
