Blair Athol – Fable Crows Chapter 6 Single Cask #302960 2014 9 year old Whisky

Tasting notes: 

Nose: Spicy and oaky at first sniff. A cool and relaxed whisky. Assorted fruits and jams with time. Thick and rich. Darker and more mysterious by the minute. I find traces of nuts and chocolate also now – nougat in fact. Love the development here.

Taste: Smooth and rich in character. Lovely, rounded spiciness. Cinnamon, earthy vanilla and licorice root. Dried fruits.

Finish: Long finish. Rich, dark and fruity all the way. A touch of green in the end. Oh, and a hit of fresh pepper mint as the curtains close.
