Benrinnes 1974 12 Year Old, SMWS 36.2

This super rare 12 year old Speyside single malt was laid down at the Benrinnes distillery in March 1974 and bottled for The Scotch Malt Whisky Society in February 1987.

Yielded at a natural cask strength 56.9% ABV from society cask number 36.2, this was only the second Benrinnes release from the SMWS’s archive.

There is some slight fading and ageing to the label, bit this remains a hugely collectible and sought after vintage – see image for detail.
