Tasting notes: Nose: Bitter tangerine peel, dark chocolate, cold brew coffee, yeast, almost meaty with some slightly tart white wine. Pencil shavings, toasted oak and spices on the back end – cinnamon. Palate: Benrinnes carries weight and the nutty style is really clear on the palate. Fruit notes dance around the savoury qualities providing great contrasts and complexities. Finish: A touch of spiced oak in the back. A medium finish with hints of tropical fruit and rich warm malty tones.
