Benromach 17 Year Old, Official 1998 Special Centenary Bottling with Tube

This 17 year old Speyside single malt was bottled in 1998 to celebrate 100 years of the Benromach distillery.

A limited edition of just 3500 bottles, the spirit spent its final two years maturing in sherry casks dating from 1886, 1895 and 1901 before bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for the momentous occasion.

The year 1998 was also special for the folk of Benromach, because this is the year it reopened following the takeover by Gordon & MacPhail.
