Macallan – Edition No. 4 – Single Malt Whisky

The Edition No4 release celebrates the opening of the new distillery opened in June 2018 and the foundation of this Macallan is first fill European oak Sherry seasoned casks.

A combination of aged stock from both European and American Sherry seasoned oak from 1st and 2nd fill Butts 42% Hogsheads 40% and Puncheons 18%.

The new bottling is designed to showcase the ‘structure’ of Macallan’s whisky, following Edition No 1 and No 2 – focused on cask influence – and Edition No 3, which explored the impact of aroma.
