Part of there Connoisseurs Choice Range this Highland whisky distilled way back in 1988 using refill hogshead casks makes it an excellent addition to any whisky lovers collection.
Nose: Aromas of Lemon peel and Poached pears give way to orange marmalade. Vanilla pod comes to the fore alongside red apple and soft charred oak.
Taste: Rich citrus zest and soft banana notes complement sweet honey. Toasted hazelnuts develop, accompanied by milk chocolate and brown sugar.
Finish: A medium-bodied finish with lingering notes of baked apples, subtle white pepper and mature oak.
